Mrs.
Hustak was born in Leader Saskatchewan and recieved her Bachelor of Education
from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. Her areas of concentration
were in reading and music.
Before coming to Medicine Hat in 1997, she lived with her family in
Swift Current and taught Grade one at Waldeck School in the Prarie West
School Division. For the past seven years at MHCS, Mrs. Hustak has taught
Grade two. Music has always been a big part of her life and you can hear
her singing in her classroom throughout the day. She is also active in
her church as part of the worship ministry at Hillcrest.
Her husband currently teaches in the Junior High and they have two children;
Erica and Nolan. In her leisure time, she enjoys sports, camping, reading
and music. Mrs. Hustak sees teaching at Medicine hat Christian as a great
opportunity to teach children about God and His creation.
Grade Two Program Outline
The following is a brief outline of the main topics and themes that the grade two class will be studying this year and the approximate times of study. The language Arts program includes literature (poems, stories and novels), phonics, spelling and composition (journals, reports and creative writing). However, just the monthly themes will be listed below.
